Safer and faster web surfing

The Flow Internet Filter appliance filters staff (or student) web surfing by intercepting the data flow and making decisions based on the rules that you make. Websites are cached to improve performance for later visits. Departments and individual staff can have their own lists of permitted and denied websites. The following logical diagram shows how the Flow Internet Filter is positioned between the Internet and workstations. All downloads are automatically scanned for virus infections.

Per-user quotas allows you to set limits on how much each user can download. There is a default download quota that you can set which will apply to everyone. But some people shouldn’t have limits and other should have higher or lower limited than the default. The Flow Internet Filter lets you be as specific as you like with minimal complexity.

Email with less spam and more control

Email is mostly spam and the Flow Internet Filter is very good at filtering out junk email. Virus infections and malicious emails are reduced to virtually zero. Filtering is very fast and very accurate. Individual email addresses or entire domains can be permitted and rejected with easily managed lists.
